CardPress Terms & Conditions
Welcome to CardPress.com. These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of our website, products, customization tools, order process, and services. By visiting our website, creating an account, placing an order, submitting artwork, or using our customization tools, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy.
CardPress.com provides custom and personalized products including, but not limited to, playing cards, poker chips, token cards, puzzles, bundle packs, and related accessories.
1. Website Use and Account Information
You may be asked to provide information such as your name, email address, billing address, shipping address, phone number, artwork files, order details, and payment information.
You agree that all information submitted to CardPress.com is accurate, complete, and current. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account login information and for all activity that occurs under your account.
CardPress.com reserves the right to suspend, cancel, or refuse service for accounts or orders that appear fraudulent, abusive, inaccurate, incomplete, or in violation of these Terms.
2. Customization Tools, Templates, and Design Software
CardPress may provide online customization tools, templates, design software, product builders, upload tools, or quote request forms to help customers create custom products.
All templates, layouts, tools, design elements, website graphics, product previews, and related software are owned by CardPress.com or its partners and may not be copied, reused, distributed, modified, or used outside of the CardPress.com platform without written permission.
Product previews, online mockups, and digital renderings are intended to help visualize the final product. Due to screen settings, monitor calibration, file quality, lighting, material type, print method, and manufacturing tolerances, the final product may appear slightly different from what is shown online.
3. Artwork, Uploads, and Customer Responsibility
By uploading artwork, logos, images, text, designs, brand assets, or other content, you confirm that you have the legal right to use, reproduce, and submit those materials for production.
You are responsible for reviewing all spelling, grammar, layout, colors, image quality, crop areas, safe zones, bleed areas, QR codes, logos, and design details before approving your proof or submitting your order.
CardPress.com is not responsible for errors that were submitted, approved, or provided by the customer. This includes, but is not limited to, misspellings, low-resolution artwork, incorrect colors, blurry images, incorrect quantities, wrong product selections, layout issues, or customer-provided design mistakes.
If CardPress creates or modifies artwork for your order, CardPress retains ownership of any original artwork, templates, layouts, or design work created in-house, excluding logos, trademarks, copyrighted characters, or brand assets provided by the customer. Customer-provided materials remain the property of their respective owners.
4. Proofs and Approval
For certain custom products, CardPress may provide a digital proof before production. Production will not begin until the proof is approved, unless otherwise stated during the order process.
By approving a proof, you confirm that the design, spelling, layout, product details, and order information are correct and ready for production.
Changes requested after proof approval may delay production and may result in additional design, setup, or remake charges.
5. QR Codes and Scannable Artwork
If your artwork includes a QR code, barcode, website link, or other scannable element, CardPress may adjust the size, position, contrast, or placement to improve scan performance.
If you do not want CardPress to adjust your QR code or artwork, you must clearly state this at checkout or contact us before production begins.
While CardPress may test QR codes when possible, the customer is ultimately responsible for confirming that all links, codes, and scannable elements are accurate, active, and approved before production.
6. Orders and Order Acceptance
Placing an order through CardPress.com means you are submitting a request to purchase products or services. An order confirmation email means we have received your order. It does not guarantee final acceptance, pricing validation, artwork approval, or production approval.
Orders are not considered fully accepted until payment has been received, order details are reviewed, and the order is approved for production by CardPress.
CardPress reserves the right to refuse, cancel, revise, or request clarification on any order for reasons including, but not limited to, pricing errors, artwork concerns, inventory issues, technical errors, payment issues, suspicious activity, policy violations, or production limitations.
7. Changes to Orders
Any requested change to an order must be submitted as soon as possible.
CardPress will make reasonable efforts to accommodate changes before production begins. Once production has started, changes may not be possible. If a change is requested after production has started, the customer may be responsible for additional charges, remake costs, revised shipping costs, or production delays.
Changes to stock items after shipment may require the customer to pay return shipping and any cost to ship replacement products.
8. Minimum Order Quantities and Order Tampering
Certain products may have minimum order quantities based on product type, material, design, style, color, or production method.
Customers may not manipulate cart quantities, remove required line items, alter product combinations, or otherwise attempt to bypass minimum order requirements.
Orders submitted below the required minimum quantity, or orders that appear to be manipulated to avoid minimums, may be canceled and refunded.
CardPress reserves the right to block or refuse future orders from customers who repeatedly attempt to bypass ordering policies.
9. Pricing, Discounts, and Promotions
Prices, discounts, promotions, and product availability are subject to change without notice.
CardPress reserves the right to correct pricing errors, discount errors, website errors, product description errors, cart calculation errors, or promotional mistakes at any time, including after an order has been submitted.
Promotional codes, coupons, and discounts are subject to validation and may not be combined unless specifically stated. CardPress may refuse, cancel, or revise any order using an invalid, expired, excessive, duplicated, or incorrectly applied discount.
If a pricing or promotion error occurs, CardPress will contact the customer before the order is accepted or produced.
10. Payment
Payment must be received before production or shipment unless a separate written agreement has been approved by CardPress.
Customers agree to provide accurate billing, payment, and contact information. CardPress may cancel or hold orders if payment cannot be verified, processed, or approved.
11. Production Timelines
Production timelines vary by product type, quantity, customization level, artwork readiness, proof approval timing, inventory, and seasonal volume.
Any production estimate begins after all required items are received, including payment, final artwork, complete order details, and proof approval when applicable.
Production timelines do not include shipping transit time unless specifically stated.
CardPress is not responsible for delays caused by incomplete artwork, delayed proof approvals, incorrect order information, customer response delays, vendor delays, carrier delays, weather, supply shortages, customs, holidays, or circumstances outside our control.
12. Rush Orders
Rush production may be available on select products for an additional charge.
Rush production speeds up production only. It does not automatically guarantee faster shipping unless the customer also selects an expedited shipping method.
If a rush order does not meet the stated rush production timeline due to a CardPress production issue, CardPress may refund the rush fee only. Shipping charges, product costs, and other fees are not automatically refundable.
Customers with firm event dates are encouraged to select a shipping method that allows extra time before the required delivery date.
13. Shipping and Delivery
Shipping options and rates are shown during checkout when available. Shipping charges may vary by product weight, dimensions, destination, carrier, and service level.
CardPress is not responsible for shipping delays, delivery delays, carrier errors, weather delays, address correction delays, lost packages, customs delays, or other events outside our control once an order has transferred to the shipping carrier.
Shipping and delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed unless specifically stated in writing.
If a project is time-sensitive, we recommend choosing an expedited shipping method and allowing extra time before your event or deadline.
CardPress reserves the right to modify shipping methods when needed to meet requested due dates, but the customer may be responsible for additional shipping charges.
14. International Orders, Duties, Taxes, and Customs Fees
Shipping fees paid at checkout cover transportation charges only, unless otherwise stated.
For orders shipped outside the United States, local governments may assess import duties, taxes, tariffs, brokerage fees, customs fees, or other charges upon delivery.
These charges are determined by the destination country and are the responsibility of the customer. CardPress does not control, predict, collect, or reimburse international duties, taxes, tariffs, or customs fees.
Customers should contact their local customs office or carrier for more information before placing an international order.
15. Returns and Replacements
Custom products are made specifically for the customer and are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange unless there is a confirmed manufacturing defect or verified production error by CardPress.
Stock, non-custom products may be eligible for return if unused, unopened, and approved by CardPress. Return shipping costs may be the responsibility of the customer, and a restocking fee may apply.
If a product has a confirmed manufacturing defect, CardPress may replace the defective product, issue a store credit, or provide another resolution at our discretion.
Customers must contact CardPress before returning any product. Unauthorized returns may not be accepted.
16. Cancellations
Cancellations are only valid if the order has not entered production.
Because custom products are made specifically for each customer and cannot be resold, cancellations are not available once production begins.
If a cancellation is approved before production begins, a cancellation or restocking fee may apply to cover administrative, payment processing, design, proofing, material, or setup costs already incurred.
17. Manufacturing Tolerances
Custom products may have minor variations in color, alignment, trim, cut, print position, material finish, packaging, thickness, size, or appearance. These normal production tolerances are not considered defects.
Due to the nature of custom manufacturing, exact color matching, exact alignment, and exact replication from screen to final product cannot be guaranteed unless specifically approved through a separate sampling or production agreement.
18. Product Descriptions and Availability
CardPress makes every effort to display accurate product descriptions, images, pricing, specifications, and availability.
However, product details may change without notice. CardPress reserves the right to discontinue products, update materials, revise pricing, change product options, limit quantities, or substitute comparable components when necessary.
19. Intellectual Property
All website content, product images, text, graphics, templates, software, logos, icons, layouts, product builders, designs, and other materials on CardPress.com are owned by CardPress or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, modify, display, sell, or exploit any part of the website or its content without written permission from CardPress.
Submitting artwork to CardPress does not transfer ownership of CardPress templates, tools, design systems, product previews, or in-house creative work to the customer.
20. Customer Content and Permission to Use
By submitting artwork, photos, logos, reviews, product images, or project details, you grant CardPress permission to use images of completed products, mockups, samples, or customer projects for internal review, quality control, marketing, social media, advertising, website content, catalogs, samples, or promotional purposes unless you request otherwise in writing before production.
CardPress will not knowingly claim ownership of customer-owned logos, trademarks, or copyrighted materials.
21. Prohibited Uses
You may not use CardPress.com, our services, or our products for unlawful, abusive, misleading, infringing, harmful, obscene, threatening, fraudulent, or unauthorized purposes.
You may not submit artwork or content that violates another party’s copyright, trademark, privacy rights, publicity rights, or other legal rights.
CardPress reserves the right to reject or cancel orders containing content that we determine, at our discretion, to be unlawful, hateful, abusive, explicit, infringing, misleading, or otherwise inappropriate.
22. Third-Party Services and Links
CardPress.com may use or link to third-party platforms, apps, payment processors, shipping providers, marketing tools, embedded features, or external websites.
CardPress is not responsible for the content, policies, accuracy, security, performance, or practices of third-party websites or services.
Use of third-party tools or websites is at your own risk and may be subject to separate terms and privacy policies.
23. Shopify Platform
CardPress.com may be powered by Shopify or other ecommerce platforms that support website hosting, checkout, payment, analytics, customer accounts, and related services.
By using CardPress.com, you understand that certain information may be processed by Shopify or other third-party service providers as needed to operate the website, process payments, fulfill orders, and improve the customer experience.
24. Privacy and Security
CardPress takes customer privacy and online security seriously. Personal information collected through CardPress.com is handled according to our Privacy Policy.
No online system is guaranteed to be perfectly secure. Customers are responsible for keeping account login information private and should avoid sending sensitive information through unsecured channels.
25. Errors, Inaccuracies, and Omissions
Occasionally, information on CardPress.com may contain errors, inaccuracies, or omissions related to pricing, promotions, product descriptions, availability, shipping charges, timelines, or other details.
CardPress reserves the right to correct errors, update information, revise orders, or cancel orders at any time without prior notice, including after an order has been submitted.
26. Disclaimer of Warranties
CardPress.com, its website, tools, products, content, and services are provided as available and as permitted by law.
Except as specifically stated in writing, CardPress makes no guarantee that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, completely secure, or free from technical issues.
CardPress does not guarantee that any product will meet expectations that were not included in the approved order details, approved proof, or written product specifications.
27. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CardPress, its owners, employees, affiliates, partners, suppliers, vendors, contractors, and service providers shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages, including lost profits, missed event dates, lost business, loss of goodwill, or other damages resulting from website use, product use, order delays, shipping delays, carrier issues, artwork errors, customer-submitted mistakes, or circumstances outside our control.
For claims related to a purchased product, CardPress’s liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the specific product at issue.
28. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless CardPress, its owners, employees, affiliates, partners, suppliers, vendors, contractors, and service providers from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, expenses, or legal fees arising from your violation of these Terms, your use of the website, your submitted artwork or content, your infringement of another party’s rights, or your misuse of any product or service.
29. Force Majeure
CardPress will not be responsible for delays, failures, or inability to perform caused by events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to weather, natural disasters, carrier delays, customs delays, labor disputes, supply shortages, power outages, internet outages, equipment failure, government actions, pandemics, acts of war, terrorism, civil unrest, or other extraordinary events.
